WALDSCHRAT Bike & Outdoor Cleaner

WALDSCHRAT by GUPPYFRIEND is the first microplastic-free and uncompromisingly sustainable outdoor cleaner from the Alpine foothills. It is specially made for all outdoor athletes, bike washers, outdoor cooks, shoe polishers, and those who wash dishes by hand, and it replaces at least a dozen other products. And that’s a good thing, because many of the ingredients in common cleaning agents are difficult to break down in the environment. In addition to dyes and solvents, they often contain liquid plastics and microplastics. These end up in our groundwater in various ways and endanger nature. A mess! That’s why we developed the WALDSCHRAT.

WALDSCHRAT forgoes all non-biodegradable ingredients, and the base for our outdoor cleaner is made from natural soap rather than synthetic alternatives.  

Two cosmetic-grade preservatives (benzisothiazolinone, phenoxyethanol) are used to prevent bacterial growth. The amount used is so small that WALDSCHRAT is safe to use even with skin contact.

We developed the WALDSCHRAT to remove stubborn dirt easily and gently. Residues of clay, wet forest soil, and plant resins can be rinsed off quickly and easily by spraying and then washing or wiping away. The cleaner is suitable for all bicycle materials, cleans tents, backpacks, and hiking boots, and is your all-purpose cleaner for camping trips. Although not explicitly developed for it, the environmentally and skin-friendly WALDSCHRAT outdoor cleaner also does its job in the kitchen and bathroom. And all this without microplastic pollution!

Spray the soiled item, leave it to take effect briefly, and rinse off with water. Repeat the process for particularly stubborn dirt and wipe surfaces with a damp cloth. Rinse off the cleaner completely afterwards. If you dilute the cleaner and use it in a 1:1 ratio with water, please approximately double the contact time.
